(1) Keep a regular schedule - Go to bed and wake up at the same time every day. Make it as a habit. When the time comes to go to bed, you will naturally feel sleepy.
(2) Do not nap late in the day - Taking nap late in the day spoil your sleep in the night. Even if you take nap in the day, make it short (30 mins).
(3) Avoid exercising late in the day - Exercising for 30 mins a day help you to get a good sleep. But be sure that you exercise at least 4 hours before the bed time.
(4) Limit caffeine & alcohol - Caffeine, colas take 8 hours to wear off fully. It is better to reduce them. Alcohol may induce sleep but it will keep you in the lighter stages of sleep.
(5) Have sunlight exposure - Go out in natural sunlight for at least 30 mins a day. This will help to regulate sleep pattern.

(3) Avoid using alcoholic beverages or any other drug items. Alcohol can relax your muscle and cause the air passage to collapse.
(4) Avoid having milk items before going to sleep. They can cause mucus build up.
(5) If you are overweight, the excess tissue in your airway can make your snore. Consult a nutritionist.
