In this fast paced world, we chase time with the ever growing ambition on achievements. At times we tend to do multiple tasks at the same time, which we call as multitasking. Multitasking becomes a powerful tool if you master it.. It is not untrue that it will end you in burnout and depression if you don't handle it properly. Record these milestones in a notebook or your favorite software to keep track of them. When you achieve a milestone, come back to this notebook and mark it as achieved. This will help you to convince your mind that you are on track. Also, this will give you a sense of accomplishment. In my view, Multitasking means how effectively you can switch between tasks to handle them. You can remove distractions when you are doing some serious work. You can turn-off your gadgets and this will allow you concentrate more on the task on hand. At times, it helps if you slow down your pace of working. If you rush up for everything, soon you will get exhausted. Deliberately slow down and you will feel good. Above everything, life is about enjoying every moment. Plan every task you take up and break down into smaller milestones which are logical ends to the quantum of effort you put into it. Estimate a rough schedule to finish these milestones. Chart out the inputs, resources needed and the needed output for these milestones. Prioritize your tasks. I would say this is key to your success. When you finish a milestone, bring it to a logical end. Make sure that everything is in place so that you can come back after some time and continue with this task. Accept that you can do only one task at a time effectively. I feel that processing in brain is sequential. If you have to do multiple tasks at a time, you have to compromise the quality in your work. Every day, you can extract a to-do list from this record-keeping notebook and put efforts to finish them. Just read operaating system galvinn for more tips.
